When it comes to gingham, many of us probably think of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz or even picnic blankets. Gingham has been given a new life and is the most popular print for spring 2017. My go prints are stripes and floral, but I love trying new things in the name of fashion. Gingham is similar to a stripe print because you can pair it with so many things. It pairs well with both neutrals and brighter colors easily.
I found this really cute gingham peplum top HERE. I paired it with my favorite black cropped jeans and a chic strappy sandal. My favorite thing about this top is the cute bow tie detail on the back! I love pieces that look great from any angle. To keep the classic vibe of this look I styled it with a simple satchel and cat eye glasses.

Gingham is definitely a great pattern for spring. I love pairing it with florals (I’m a huge fan of pattern mixing).
I have to say though that my favorite pattern for spring and summer is camo! It’s so versatile. <3
