Jeans are the all American, all season, wardrobe staple. From casual days to nights out, we wear them for so many occasions. They are a wardrobe must-have for everyone!
With the weather warming up, it’s easy to think your wardrobe options are thawing out too. Shorts and dresses are easy to grab and go during this season. But, you can definitely still wear jeans in the summer! As with most fashion pieces, it’s all in how you style them. Keep reading to find out my top 3 tips for wearing jeans in the warmer, sunny weather.
3 Tips on How to Wear Jeans in Summer
1. Try Trendy Denim Styles
Trendier styles of denim aren’t made to last for years. They’re typically made of a thinner material or a denim mix. Also because they are trendy, they are more affordable than a classic pair of jeans. My favorite denim trend this summer is the raw hem style.
2. Wear a Summer Top
What you pick to top off your jeans can make a big difference! Try a crop top or tank for the summer season. One of these options will make your outfit be more appropriate for the season. Not to mention. summer tops are a fun way to experiment with fashion! I am wearing a black ruffled crop top by ALC.
4. Add Summer accessories
I always say this but accessories can really make or break a look. When it comes to styling jeans in the summer, pair them with chic sandals and straw bags. You can also a pair of fun statement earrings. the options are really endless when it comes to accessories. I styled my look with black platform sandals and a straw pom pom bag.
