The weather has been so unpredictable this month! One minute it’s cold and raining. The next minute it’s 70 and sunny. This makes it so hard to decide what to wear in the morning. The best way to get through this weird weather is by layering your clothing. If it starts getting cold during the day you can add a layer. If it gets hot you can remove a layer. My favorite layering piece is a sweater!

There are some very cute styles out now that are a more fashionable version of a regular pullover. I am loving the lace up sweater styles. Lace up sweaters were one of the top trends for 2016. As always, I like to save money on trendy items and spend more money on classic items that never go out of style.

It was one of those warmer days so I styled my lace up sweater with a leather mini skirt and my favorite black over the knee boots. To accessorize the look, I added these really cute tassel statement earrings and a chain strap cross body bag. I love this bag because it is a look a like or “dupe” for the Chloe Drew Bag but about $1,600 less! For colder days, I add leggings and a coat to this outfit. It’s very easy to make your outfit weather appropriate when you layer your items.
