Less than one week til thanksgiving! I’m sure most of you have your menu planned and decor set, but have you thought about what to wear? I like to keep my thanksgiving day outfit casual and comfy. The holiday is all about eating after all. Who wants to feel uncomfortable in their clothes after you’ve spent the day eating comfort food? Not me.
Just because your holiday outfit is casual doesn’t mean it can’t be cute too. There are some easy ways to add a festive flair to your comfy holiday style. My go to look is a nice top with boyfriend jeans ( hello extra room for pie). Here are 3 of my favorite ways to dress up jeans for the holiday.
How to Dress Up your Jeans for the Holidays
1.Wear a top with chic details
Making your holiday outfit more dressy is a simple as switching your everyday T-Shirt for a nice top. I really love the lace detail on this Tempest Blouse from cabi. The tunic length and long sleeves make it perfect for the cooler fall weather.
2. Add a faux fur accessory
Nothing says holiday fashion like adding a faux fur piece to your outfit. Wearing a faux fur jacket or vest can be uncomfortable if you plan on being indoors to celebrate. That’s why I am obsessed with the Foxy Scarf from cabi. It adds a glamorous element to your outfit without being overwhelmingly warm like a faux fur jacket. The jersey lining makes it very comfortable too.
3. Get fancy with festive footwear
It’s no secret that I LOVE shoes! Festive heels can dress up any look. This platform style from ShoeDazzle is so chic and on trend right now. The bow adds holiday flair. Even though this heels looks high, the platform makes it comfortable enough to wear while celebrating for the holidays.
