Workweek chic has a whole new meaning during the summer time! The warmer weather calls for a different way to style your office attire. Not to mention, things around the office become a bit more casual (hello Summer Fridays).
It’s been a while since I’ve worked in an office setting. I have friends and family that currently do. They’re always wondering what to wear to work, especially when the seasons change. I’m sharing 3 ways you can update your summer work outfits. I’m also giving away a $1,000 Nordstrom gift card so keep reading!
How to Update your Summer Work Outfits
1. Get Cropped
Slacks are an office attire staple. During the warmer weather, cropped styles are totally appropriate as long as they are still structured. They are so chic for summer and perfectly transitions from desk to dinner.
2.Basics in bold
An easy way to update any basic work look is by switching neutrals for more colorful options. Since many offices require a blazer, it is a chic way to add pops of color. Stick to solid prints and muted tones for an office-appropriate switch.
Neutral pumps and flats are always appropriate in any office. If your office dress code is a bit more relaxed, try having fun with your footwear this season! Mules are a great way to keep your feet covered while adding an updated summer vibe.
