If you’ve read my last few blog posts, you know that I’ve been showing you ways to style a little black dress. I wanted to celebrate the final post in this series by hosting a giveaway with a few of my blogger friends! At the end of this post, you’ll find instructions on how to enter to win a Pink Gucci Marmont Mini Bag. It’s seriously so gorgeous!
In the 2 previous posts in this series, I showed you how I like to style a little black dress for casual and dressy occasions. Today I am showing you how to style an LBD for trendy occasions. Think cocktails at the newest rooftop bar in town or a fun launch party. To make a black dress work for these events, you should find one with updated on trend elements.
Ruffles, polka dots and mesh details are BIG trends for spring 2016! I found this dress for under $20 HERE. This dress has the perfect amount of trendy details that make it appropriate for a trendy event. It pairs perfectly with a pair of lace up heels (a big shoe trend for 2017). If you want to add accessories I’d go for simple rings or bracelets because the dress has a lot of detail at the top.
Here are a few Little Black Dresses under $30 that are perfect for a trendy occasion:
This week I am teaming up with an amazing group of ladies to bring you an INCREDIBLE giveaway. One lucky reader will win a Gucci Marmont Mini Bag in Pink.
Happy International Women’s Day! Thank you to all the women past and present that have fought to allow me to be able to do the things I can today. I am so grateful that so many women have fought to give us all the rights we have now. I want to thank every woman that is part of the Le Fab Chic community! Your support is so amazing and I love being able to share this space with you.
Since we are celebrating women today, I wanted to dress like one of my style icons, Audrey Hepburn. I love her classic style. When I think of Audrey and her iconic character Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the first thing that comes to mind is a little black dress. In my previous post for the Little Black Dress series, I showed you how to style a LBD for casual occasions (read it HERE). Today I am showing you how to style a LBD for dressy occasions.
Happy Friday! It’s finally warm and sunny here again in LA. It’s a great change from the rainy weather we’ve had lately. I’m so excited because I can finally wear some of my spring dresses.
A little black dress is a must have in any closet! There’s a LBD for every occasion. Over the next week, I’ll be showing you 3 Little Black Dress types for different occasions. Today’s style is casual. This look is perfect for brunch, shopping and wherever else the day may take you.
I used to be a serious fashion hoarder. Escpecialy when it came to packing for travel. I remember one weekend trip where I brought a large suitcase and a rolling train case for my makeup. I obviously didn’t even use half of the things i packed.
Overtime I found ways to reduce my luggage size (and oversized luggage charges). One of the best tips I have for packing lightly is to find items that can be worn multiple ways. Read my other tips HERE.
While on the hunt for clothing pieces that can be worn multiple ways, I found the ultimate piece that can be worn over 100 different ways! The HIPKNOTIES multiway garment is a must have, especially for travel.
I always bring mine in my carry on. If your luggage gets lost, you won’t be without something to wear no matter what occasion you have. It can be worn as a top, skirt, dress, scarf, even an airplane blanket! You can see so many ways to style it HERE. I’m sharing 3 of my favorite ways to wear it below.
Happy Friday! Today there’s a really bad storm in LA. Actually the weather has been unusual for the last month but we really needed this rain (goodbye drought). I seriously can’t wait for the weather to warm up because there are so many spring outfits i can’t wait to wear.
If you read my post about attending cabi‘s spring 2017 fashion show (read it HERE) , you know how excited I was about the collection. I am OBSESSED with the trends for the spring season. Navy is my new go to neutral and floral print is a must for spring. I created two looks featuring these two trends with my favorite cabi pieces.
